Getting to the campsite
Meet at the Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez TER station, on the Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie to Nantes line. Reach Nantes and all its interconnections in just 1 hour!
The Demoiselles-Plage campsite is linked to the Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez train station by La Littorale shuttle bus, which runs from mid-June to mid-September (Les Maraîchines stop is a 20-minute walk away).
The Demoiselles Plage campsite is located opposite the Vélodyssée, the European “EuroVélo1” cycle route linking Saint-Jean-de-Luz to Morlaix! Come and spend an evening or more at our cycling-friendly campsite.
You can also enjoy an evening stopover at the campsite as you follow the GR8 footpath along the Vendée coast.
A car-free holiday:
The La Littorale shuttle bus takes you to La-Barre-de-Monts, Notre-Dame-de-Monts, downtown Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, as well as the many attractions along the way. Single fare: €0.50. Opening hours: 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Numerous cycle routes starting from the campsite and discovery loops will enable you to get around easily in the vicinity to the most emblematic places, as far as Saint-Jean-de-Monts in particular, ranked 2nd cycling city in France!
Adult and children’s bicycles are available for hire from the campsite reception. Contact us to reserve yours.
Finally, there’s no shortage of walks and discoveries in the immediate vicinity of Les Demoiselles-Plage.

Opening hours for campsite and services
Our campsite welcomes visitors from early April to late September.
During this period, a full range of services is available, including reception, sanitary facilities, children’s play areas, bike rentals, barbecue facilities, bed linen and towels, and a bread deposit service.
What’s more, our heated, covered swimming pool, restaurant and grocery store remain open throughout the season for your enjoyment.
Reception is open throughout the season at the following times:
Low season: 8:30am-12:30pm / 1:30pm-6:30pm
High season: 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
If you are planning a late arrival, i.e. after our reception desk has closed, we would be grateful if you could inform us in advance of your expected arrival time.
This will enable us to organize your late arrival and send you essential information by e-mail or telephone, including the location where you can collect your key and entry code, a map of the campsite, the times of services available, and a map of the restaurant.
Here are our arrival/departure times for your camping stay in Saint Hilaire de Riez :
- rental stay: arrival after 4 p.m. and departure before 10 a.m.
- Bare pitch stay: after 12 noon and departure before 12 noon

Security and bonding
At Demoiselles Plage, ensuring our guests rest is a top priority.
For this reason, vehicle traffic is strictly restricted on the campsite premises from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. An entry code will be given to you on arrival, making it easier to move around the campsite between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.
For holidaymakers arriving late at night, parking is available to the right of the campsite entrance. Pedestrian and bicycle access to the campsite remains open around the gates, 24 hours a day.
During the summer season, our campsite benefits from night-time surveillance by our janitor. Its main task is to ensure strict compliance with the house rules, in particular with regard to the maintenance of absolute silence on the part of holidaymakers during the night. In the event of an incident or excessive noise, please inform our on-site security guard or use the emergency number provided on arrival.
On arrival, we ask for a deposit of €300, regardless of the length of your rental stay. For pitches, payment for the first night of your stay is required. For further information on reception and services, please visit our services page.
When you leave your rental property, our team will carry out a complete check of the accommodation. We encourage you to sign up for the departure inventory schedule, so that you can prepare for the end of your stay with complete peace of mind. Entrance inspections are not necessary at Camping Demoiselles Plage, as they are carried out by our maintenance teams beforehand.
