Coming without a car
The nearest SNCF station is Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, from Challans, Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and Nantes. From 15 June to 15 September only, the summer shuttle service 568 towards “La Barre de Monts” on the Aleop network runs between the station and your campsite in 20 minutes (stop “Avenue de Baisse Les Maraîchines”, a 20-minute walk from the campsite).
You can reach the campsite from the Vélodysée cycle route, which runs along the south-western Atlantic coast and passes right in front of your campsite!
Coming by car
You’ll find a charging point right at your campsite. Make the most of a friendly, environmentally-friendly journey by carpooling with other campers! The Mobicoop car-sharing site operates without any service charges.
Getting around Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez and the surrounding area without a car
From the campsite, you can easily walk to Plage des 60 Bornes, Plage des Demoiselles and Atlantic Toboggan, or set off on a hike through the forest…
From Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, everything is even more accessible by bike! In just 15 minutes, you can reach Saint-Jean-de-Monts town centre and the La Chevauchée des Dunes riding centre; Explora-Parc is only 20 minutes away, Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez town centre 35 minutes away, and the Yeu Continent ferry terminal for Île d’Yeu can be reached in 1 hour. Numerous cycling routes can be explored nearby, including the famous Vélodyssée cycle route! During the summer season, bus line 568 serves all the surrounding towns worth discovering. It runs from early July to late August, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with one departure every hour. The closest stop to the campsite is “Avenue de Baisse Les Maraîchines”, a 20-minute walk away.

Practical info
Our 3-star campsite in the Vendée extends over more than 14 hectares in the heart of an ONF (French National Forests Office) area, a protected natural environment managed sustainably. It offers 229 pitches, including both rental accommodation and traditional camping pitches.
The site is accessible to guests with reduced mobility and offers 4 adapted PMR mobile homes. Our reception team speaks both French and English to provide you with the best possible assistance.
Dogs are welcome under certain conditions. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
New: electric vehicle charging stations are now available near the campsite through our partnership with Freshmile. Simply scan a QR code to start charging quickly and easily.
Opening hours for campsite and services
Throughout the campsite’s opening season, a full range of services is available to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including reception services, sanitary facilities, children’s playgrounds, bike rentals, barbecue equipment, bed linen and towel hire, as well as a bread delivery service.
In addition, our heated swimming pool and snack bar remain open from mid-May to mid-September for your enjoyment.
Reception is open throughout the season at the following times:
Inflatable castle: 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. during the summer season | 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. during the low season
Grocery shop: Summer season | 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
During the closure period, the switchboard is available from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm.
To ensure we can welcome you in the best possible conditions, please let us know your estimated arrival time if you plan to arrive after the reception desk has closed.
This will allow us to organise your arrival smoothly and send you all the useful information by email or phone: where to collect your key, the entrance code, a campsite map, as well as the opening hours of the available services.

Here are our arrival/departure times for your camping stay in Saint Hilaire de Riez :
Camping pitch arrivals: from 2:00 p.m. onwards | Departures before 12:00 noon
Rental accommodation arrivals: from 4:00 p.m. onwards. Departures: between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., depending on availability for the check-out inspection.

Security and bonding
At Demoiselles Plage, ensuring our guests rest is a top priority.
For this reason, vehicle traffic is strictly restricted on the campsite premises from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. An entry code will be given to you on arrival, making it easier to move around the campsite between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.
For holidaymakers arriving late at night, parking is available to the right of the campsite entrance. Pedestrian and bicycle access to the campsite remains open around the gates, 24 hours a day.
During the summer season, our campsite benefits from night-time surveillance by our janitor. Its main task is to ensure strict compliance with the house rules, in particular with regard to the maintenance of absolute silence on the part of holidaymakers during the night. In the event of an incident or excessive noise, please inform our on-site security guard or use the emergency number provided on arrival.
On arrival, we ask for a deposit of €300, regardless of the length of your rental stay. For pitches, payment for the first night of your stay is required. For further information on reception and services, please visit our services page.
When you leave your rental property, our team will carry out a complete check of the accommodation. We encourage you to sign up for the departure inventory schedule, so that you can prepare for the end of your stay with complete peace of mind. Entrance inspections are not necessary at Camping Demoiselles Plage, as they are carried out by our maintenance teams beforehand.
